Metro Rail Single Tracking
Starting January 12 to April 19, Metro rail will single track between University Station and Humboldt Hospital Station.
During this time, trains will be traveling in both directions (to University & to Canalside) on the inbound track.
Outbound (to University) platforms will be closed at University, LaSalle, and Amherst stations. Please wait for your train at the inbound platform.

Church Street Station main platform closed for construction.
Church Street Station will be under construction until late 2025. Please use temporary platforms to board the rail. Click here and here for renderings of new station design.

At the beginning and end of major Key Bank Center events, such as Sabres games and concerts, reroutes might be in effect for Routes 8, 14, 15, 16, 24, and 42. Current reroutes can be found at the Metro Alerts page. Maps of reroutes for these events can be found here.

Attention MetGo customers,
Effective 2/1/25, ACH payments (payments made directly from checking from savings accounts) will no longer be accepted as a payment method on the MetGo public website or the MetGo app. The MetGo website and MetGo app will continue to accept debit card and credit card payments.
